CYNTHIA SHARP, Sea Hill Press editorial director, began her career as an editor in 1987 in Los Angeles, California, and has spent her professional life in the book industry. As executive editor for the Gonzaga University book project, Cynthia is fully experienced in working with closely held institutions. She understands the functions of editing not only from the position of being a language specialist but also from her knowledge of the specialized field of book development and production. She has been at the head of many of our most significant projects and possesses great strength in managing the processes, procedures, and compilation tasks that come with a collaborative project. Cynthia has an analytical mind, a finely developed understanding of unifying diverse elements, and an ability to supervise staff and manage processes. Cynthia has a bachelor’s of art degree in Psychology and History and a Professional Sequence in Editing Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley.
